Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools plans to hold in-person graduation ceremonies for the class of Due to COVID safety protocols and social-distancing requirements, the district will limit each graduate to two guests.

All ceremonies will be livestreamed for remote viewing. Graduation dates and times are largely the same as previously stated; however some adjustments were required to meet health and safety protocols. Individual high schools will plan school-based celebrations in addition to the in-person graduation ceremonies.

Information about these celebrations will be shared with families, students and staff as plans are finalized. Seniors are only required to order the cap and gown package which includes the stole and tassel for the mortarboard. Seniors may order extra items such as announcements, clothing, and class rings. Seniors must register with Southern Recognition for order tracking and fulfillment purposes. This is done by creating an account.

After creating the account, you will be able to sign on and select your items to order. For June Grads, the deadline to order is Monday, March 1, All orders will be shipped to the home address EXCEPT the cap and gown package which will be shipped to school for pickup.
