Morrigan's whole companion quest is about her trying to uncover secrets that Flemeth kept from her. It's why she wants the warden to get her grimoire, and then her real grimoire. Before departing, she tells Morrigan that she was never in danger, because an unwilling host cannot be possessed. The Qunari were always planned to have horns, but the tech in DAO something related to how helmets interact with the Qunari models couldn't allow for it so Sten has no horns.
In lore explanation is that some Qunari are born without horns but it's pretty rare. Qunari are generally taller and more physically robust than humans. They usually have skin of varying metallic colors such as gold, bronze, and silver , white hair , pointed ears, and vivid eyes with colors like violet, red, silver, or yellow. Walkthrough If the Warden has Mechanical Expertise or at least 20 Cunning or Leliana is in the party, you can pick the cage's lock.
You can persuade the Revered Mother to release Sten into the Warden's custody. You can intimidate the Revered Mother into handing over the key. If you are lucky enough in Origins, she actually mentions a son in a particular banter. However, it is not until the book that you get all the juicy details. Like Wynne, Rhys is a talented mage. During DAI, Cassandra is years old. In Trespasser she is Her age is mentioned in the main page. She is something like that. The Big Damn Kiss — If romanced, just before the final battle, Fenris passionately kisses Hawke in front of all their companions.
Breaking up prior to the final battle means you can't go through with her. The player stabs Morrigan and she falls backwards through the Eluvian portal. If the Warden undertook Morrigan's Ritual, it is implied that Morrigan will allow the Warden to meet their son if she was fully romanced. As a child Alistair worked as a stableboy. But it always worried me why she offered to get the grey wardens out of the sacrifice thing because Morrigan just does not do charity. I bet the child never experiences breast feeding and ends up in a kids club from a very early age.

But yes there are too many variables in this and she isn't always honest with the PC. Particularly I find her deceit infuriating if she is romanced. How exactly was Morrigan able to flee possibly with an infant-to-small-child and hide from Flemeth for ten years? That means, either Flemeth was lying about her abilities to track her daughter easily; or, Morrigan was extremely talented in finding ways of hiding.
Sure, Morrigan herself could be easy, just transform into a crow and fly for ten years. But what about Kieran? Hiding in plain sight as an apostate with a child was probably hard, as from experience, Morrigan isn't subtle, and people can immediately tell from first glance that something is different about her.
So what lengths did she have to go to in order to hide from her mother? When the Warden meets Morrigan in Origins , her appearance may suggest that those clothes are just what apostate mages living in the middle of a bog wear. But then the Warden meets Flemeth, the "Witch of the Wilds," and she is dressed in average, commoner clothes. Which brings up the question of Morrigan's clothing and overall appearance.
She wears a low-cut outfit with no armor and a leather-like skirt. Other than over-sexualization, there is no point behind this character design.
She can't possibly be comfortable; no wonder she is standing by a fire in the camp throughout Origins. She's got to be cold! Her first appearance in Inquisition is much more appropriate for her surroundings. In Origins, right before the final mission, the Warden finds out that a Grey Warden has to die for the Archdemon to die, else the spirit will be transferred to another Darkspawn.
Morrigan is then waiting in the Warden's chambers not an unexpected thing if the Warden romanced her , claiming to know of a ritual. That, if chosen, will have her conceiving a child through one of the male Wardens that the Archdemon's spirit will go into instead of a Darkspawn.
Besides the oddly specific details surrounding the ritual, how did Morrigan know of it? It's blood magic, but like any other class mage, all forms of one magic aren't known just for knowing how to use it. It's an odd, old secret that Flemeth may have taught her.
It may have been Flemeth's plan the entire time to get the old god's soul. Either way, it's an extremely difficult decision to make. Morrigan's son, Kieran, is an anomaly, but what is he? Supposedly he has the spirit of the Archdemon in him, but it seems like he doesn't even know what he is! He is just as sharp as his mother; no doubt, it's that old god blood in him. But he certainly doesn't look like a Darkspawn, which, from the way Morrigan explained the ritual, is possibly what some people expected him to be.
Regardless of what he is, Flemeth takes it from him when he's ten years old, adding onto the surplus old god powers she has.
